MECHATRONIC MILL PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
In this project we designed a wireless interface which allowed the user to operate a bench top mill through a wireless controller. Stepper motors drove the bed x, y, and z axes. Limit switches provided hard stops to ensure the table did not travel out of bounds.
Software was used to implement user programable soft stops and allowed the user to program in specific cut patterns.
